During residential treatment, patients learn recovery skills, interpersonal skills, and mental health management skills to manage mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mood disorders, and others. Length of stay is determined individually by our clinical team with the patient.

Residential patients attend 30 hours of programming per week. The topics covered include the biology of addiction, interpersonal skills, relapse prevention skills, communication skills, anger management, grief/loss, codependency, movement, yoga, and recovery skills. The residential program centered on evidenced-based practices, recent neuroscience discoveries, and the mind-body connection.

The patient will work with an individual counselor to resolve any presenting mental health issues, trauma issues, and or any adverse childhood experiences. Mental health issues, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences are risk factors that may be contributing to the addiction. In addition to clinical participation, patients will learn about the 12-step program and attend 12-step meetings on-campus and off-campus.

CBC wants all of our members and guests to have access to the many large events and small groups offered throughout the week. Axcess works with ministries so children, youth, and adults with special needs can participate at CBC, through inclusion and specially designed activities.

Axcess
Our special needs ministry is built on the belief that Jesus desires a personal relationship with all his children, regardless of their abilities. We have created a program to accommodate and differentiate student learning. Inclusion allows us to collaborate with other ministries to plan for small groups, large groups, and individual needs. We desire to partner with parents and staff to develop a plan for each participant in the church setting.

Models in Axcess
We have two models in Axcess.

The first is inclusion for all ministries where members are given a buddy to partner with alongside their peers in various environments around campus.

The second option is our sensory-safe classrooms. These rooms are self contained and allow specialized and specific care for those with moderate to severe needs.

Transition Bible Study
Axcess also holds a transition bible study (ages 14+) on Sunday mornings at 10 AM. This serves our older members who want to develop a better understanding and personal relationship with the body of Christ.

It can be confusing to find help for older adults and people with disabilities. Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) are part of the No Wrong Door system, which is designed to streamline public access to long-term services and supports (LTSS).

ADRCs serve as a key point of access to person-centered LTSS specialized information, referral and assistance and provide one-stop access to information for people who need help finding LTSS.

ADRCs help cut through the confusing maze of funding sources, multiple intake systems, and eligibility processes.

Who Should Call an ADRC?

Finding help for older adults and people with disabilities can be overwhelming. When you call 855-YES-ADRC (855-937-2372), it becomes much easier. By making the call, you will talk to a trained professional who will guide you to the right service options to help meet your needs.

Whether you are looking for long-term care services or supports for yourself or someone else, give the ADRC number a call.

  • You can call for yourself or a family member
  • You can call for a neighbor
  • You can call for a friend
  • You can call for a client you are helping

Even if you don’t need services or supports right now, give us a call to learn about what may be available.
