Help Pay for Healthcare near
The Center for Minority Veterans is the Department of Veterans Affairs model for inter-and intra-agency co-operation, to ensure all veterans receive equal service regardless of race, origin, religion, or gender. We are process improvement-oriented and both internal and external customer-centric. We assist VA in executing its mission in the most equitable, efficient and humane way possible. Dignity and an acceptable quality of life are the products we seek to deliver to ALL veterans no matter what their circumstance. We will grace our mission execution with gratitude to the men and women we now serve who in turn served our Nation so well.
The primary goal of this outreach initiative is to increase local awareness of minority Veteran related issues and develop strategies for increasing their participation in existing VA benefit programs for eligible Veterans. Minority Veterans Program Coordinator’s are located at Regional Offices, Health Care Facilities and National Cemeteries and are responsible for:
- Promoting the use of VA benefits, programs, and services by minority Veterans.
- Supporting and initiating activities that educate and sensitize internal staff to the unique needs of minority Veterans.
- Targeting outreach efforts to minority Veterans through community networks.
- Advocating on behalf of minority Veterans by identifying gaps in services and make recommendations to improve service delivery within their facilities.
There is a Minority Veteran Program Coordinator (MVPC) located in each state’s Regional Office, Health Care Facility and National Cemetery to educate and assist with your eligibility of benefits and services.

Helping families and adults who are unable to pay for their medications.
For epilepsy patients, taking their prescribed anti-seizure medication every day is critical to their health and safety. Patients who stop taking their medications without a physician’s supervision are in serious danger of having an unexpected seizure that could be a life-threatening event. Our staff recognizes the importance of medication adherence; our Emergency Medication Assistance Program is a critical service for epilepsy patients.
30-Day Supply of Medications:
This program provides a 30-day supply of an individual’s anti-seizure medications at no cost to the patient. Our staff works directly with the patient’s pharmacy to pay for the prescriptions. Emergency medical assistance is granted on a case-by-case basis.
Enrollment Assistance:
During the month the patient benefits from the program, our staff will work with the family or individual to help enroll them in a patient assistance program or insurance coverage to ensure they do not find themselves in the same situation after the 30-day supply is gone.
To learn more about Emergency Medical Assistance, contact us through our online form or by phone at (210) 653-5353.

At the Airrosti Training Center, the providers conducting your treatment are Doctors of Chiropractic in the final stages of the Airrosti Certified Provider (ACP) program. They have spent weeks developing all of the skills Airrosti requires of its providers, and they apply that knowledge and training to your treatment.
Each provider is supervised by a member of Airrosti’s Clinical Development Team (all ACPs) throughout your treatment session for quality care assurance. The supervising provider may periodically interrupt your treatment to instruct the trainee on a technique or process.
Aspects of your treatment session may need to be repeated for training purposes, resulting in longer than expected treatment sessions.
Availability is based on the training program schedule. We offer training appointments only during active training classes.
