Ride for FREE until December 31!

Rio provides flexible, convenient, and affordable rides seven days a week. All rides must be within the New Braunfels Rio Service Area.

Rio operates as a shared van ride, similar to Uber Pool, which can be booked on a smartphone app or by dialing the phone number.

Half of the Rio vehicles are fully accessible so that riders of all abilities can use the service for medical appointments, running errands, or visiting family and friends around the city of New Braunfels.

$4 per ride, $2 per ride for senior citizens, veterans, university students, and those with disabilities.

In order to reduce barriers to accessing mental health services in the Comal County area, Connections also offers counseling services at a flat $45 rate per session.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or simply in need of someone to talk to, Connections’ Affordable Rate Counseling (ARC) Program counselors are available to help and support you.

Lionheart Walks raises awareness for mental health while preventing veteran and first responder suicide.

Join us every Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Landa Park Train, and once a month on the 22nd to honor the 22 veterans we lose each day.

Benefits of walking:

Hill Country MHDD Centers’ Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) are trained professionals who respond to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate support. MCOT is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week to provide on-site services within the community to individuals or families.

MCOT provides a combination of crisis services for both children and adults including assessment, case management, crisis follow-up and support necessary for the individual to remain in the community. MCOT is committed to developing strong relationships in the community.

Our trauma informed staff are dedicated to assisting individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The crisis hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1-877-466-0660.
