The purpose of the Single Family HOME Program is to expand the supply of decent, safe, and affordable housing to eligible low-income households. The Community Council of South Central Texas provides security and utility deposits alongside rental subsidies for up to 24 months while the household participates in a self-sufficiency program. Set-aside funding is also available for Disaster Relief and Persons with Disabilities. Currently, there are no open spots for immediate application processing, but individuals may submit a full application to be placed on a waiting list for random selection.
