The Enrollment Assistance Program (EAP), contracted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), provides free, statewide virtual assistance to help Texans explore and enroll in healthcare coverage options. Certified EAP Assisters guide individuals and families through the application and enrollment process for the Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Medicare.

Services include answering coverage questions, assessing eligibility, and offering referrals. Support is available to uninsured individuals, those needing to reapply for Medicaid/CHIP, and individuals transitioning to Medicare. Virtual and phone appointments are available with flexible scheduling and translation services.
