AARP San Antonio aims to empower residents to thrive by offering tools, support, and opportunities for connection and active living as they age in the local community.

  • Workshops and Events: Free online and in-person activities on health, finance, job skills, and tech, often at Traders Village.
  • Resources: Info on caregiving, fraud prevention, healthy living, jobs, and veteran support.
  • Community Building: Local chapters and volunteers connect people for social activities and service.
  • Advocacy: Lobbying for policies that support older Texans in healthcare and consumer protection.
  • Digital Literacy: Programs to help older adults connect and reduce isolation.
  • Travel Discounts: Deals on hotels, car rentals, and activities through the AARP Travel Center.
  • Health Tools: Resources for managing health, including Medicare plan info.

AARP is dedicated to people over 50, but there is no minimum age requirement.

AARP membership is $20 the first year and $15 per year to renew.
