Drinking doesn’t always lead to alcohol abuse or alcohol addiction.

However, if alcohol causes issues at work, school, home, or in your relationships you should reach out to talk.

Symptoms of issues with alcohol include:

  • Can’t remember what you did while drinking
  • Needing more and more to feel “good” or de-stress
  • Hurting yourself or others when drinking
  • Having others worried about your drinking
  • Feeling sick to your stomach, sweating, shaking, or feeling anxious while not drinking
  • Hiding your drinking or lying to others about it
  • Neglecting responsibilities at school or work

If you think you or someone you love may have a problem with alcohol, find help and hope at one of these local organizations.

Our foundational program is a client-centered, strengths-based treatment approach for addiction recovery and other mental health challenges.

Active in Recovery (AIR) utilizes the neuroscience of physical movement with intense physical exercise to induce neuroregeneration and neuroplasticity within the brains of the participants.

This is all done in a team-based community setting. The effect of this process on the brain will support an improved capacity to handle stress, a reduction in symptoms of anxiety and depression, and improved cognition, social engagement, self-image, and self-esteem.
