Drugs should never be flushed or put down the drain. Safely dispose of unused prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications (OTC) with different products available.

Our Community Needs Pantry offers non-perishable food, menstrual supplies, harm reduction supplies, hygiene items, books, plant seeds, diapers (infant and adult), and other community-donated goods.
The Community Needs Pantry is free and open to everyone.
Several times a week, members of the Yanawana Herbolarios Street Clinic team, which is comprised of herbalists, curanderas, nurses, mental health professionals, nurses, and doctors head out to provide free trauma-informed, culturally-appropriate care to our houseless relatives at encampments, shelters, and on the street.
The Street Clinic team provides a variety of services, including wound care, foot care, preventative health, diabetes management, cleaning supplies, mental health care, and needs distribution (clothing, food, harm reduction, personal care supplies, etc.).
As part of our Outreach, Linkage, and Support Services, 210 StreetReach provides referrals, linkage, and support to people in need of:
- substance use treatment
- mental health services
- medical care
- support services
This program also provides education and access to harm reduction supplies including:
- Naloxone
- bleach kits
- smoke kits
- condom kits
- hygiene kits

Naloxone (also known as Narcan), the antidote for opioid poisoning, is available at this site.
We provide warm meals, showers with CAM, ID Recovery, respite, small groups, computer lab, street outreach, and personalized case management.
This program is in partnership with Grace Lutheran Church, the City of San Antonio, and local nonprofits including Christian Assistance Ministries (CAM), Haven for Hope, SA Hope Center, First Presbyterian Church, and Communities Under the Bridge (CUB).
The center is for anyone experiencing homelessness, about to experience homelessness, or in need of respite during the day.

The Harm Reduction Center & Outreach is an effort to aid clients who are suffering from drug addiction and other forms of chemical dependencies.
The team of 8 Certified Peer Recovery Coaches takes pride in their ability to assist those in need by providing guidance into the many pathways of recovery available today.
The program is participant-centered to fit the needs of those we serve through needle exchange, harm reduction education, medical care, HIV/HepC testing, case management, and recovery coaching.

Comprehensive Continuum of Care for Females (CCC) offers interim and linkage to support services for pregnant and parenting women diagnosed with substance use disorders (past or present) to help sustain recovery.
CCC offers support from a Recovery Coach throughout the continuum of care (pre, during and post-treatment).

Wellness Wednesdays are a big deal at St Luke. That's when people who are struggling receive much-needed medical care and other services and are treated with love.
Services include:
- Basic Medical Exams
- Sexual Health Assessments
- Overdose Prevention Education
- Substance Abuse Counseling
- Detox, needle exchange
- Risk reduction items provided

The material offered is selected to maximize the reduction of transmission of blood-borne diseases, HIV, HCV, and syphilis.
The kits for IV drug users contain 10 syringes w/ 5/8 in 28ga needles, 6 condoms, a cooker, cotton, bandaids, alcohol swabs, a pamphlet describing the proper and safe way to inject, and a card listing the referral agencies in San Antonio.
Kits for diabetics did not contain the cooker, cotton, or pamphlet.
Disposal of collected dirty needles and syringes is through the Metropolitan Health District.
This program aims to reduce overall opioid use disorder with comprehensive services, including:
- Outpatient counseling
- Peer recovery
- Case Management
- Medication for OUD
- Referrals to Harm Reduction Services
- HIV testing

This program expands and enhances overdose prevention and harm reduction services for minority individuals with or at risk of developing substance use disorders.
Eligibility Requirements:
- must be 18 years old or older;
- must live in one of the following counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Calhoun, Comal, Dewitt, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Jackson, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, La Salle, Lavaca, Maverick, Medina, Real, Victoria, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, Zavala; and
- must currently use or have a history of substance use in the past 12 months and/or a history of an overdose in the past 36 months; or be a friend, family, or ally of someone using substances.
This program aims to prevent substance misuse and the transmission of HIV and viral Hepatitis while providing prevention and education among men.
